The Queensland Government has allocated a number of First Start Traineeships to sport and recreation organisations. This program provides a 12-24 month paid traineeship opportunity for an eligible jobseeker to undertake a subsidised traineeship with a community based organisation (NFP). A subsidy of $20,000 will help towards the cost of the trainee’s wages for 12 months of employment.
