GROWING WORKFORCE PARTICIPATION FUND – Aquatics Workforce Attraction and Retention project

AQIA is proud to partner with Swim Australia, AUSTSWIM and Royal Life Saving Society Qld to deliver this project which aims to address the shortage of swim teachers in Queensland.   The project aims to support 150 individuals in gaining employment and creating career pathways for long-term employment and retention in the aquatic industry and will focus on attracting and supporting various roles within the aquatic industry, including entry-level swim teachers, pool Lifeguards, coaches, swim school managers, pool operators, aquatic technical operators, and customer service team members.    The project will provide support and development opportunities for both new and experienced employees, fostering long-term industry engagement and retention.
