Have You Considered a Career as a VET Teacher or Trainer?

Your industry experience can help train the next generation of workers. Use your skills to build their future.  A new Queensland Government Statewide campaign has been launched to encourage individuals to consider a career as a VET teacher or trainer.

This website contains great information to inform individuals and connect them to support and advice – Become a TAFE teacher

To support this program, the TAE Support Package for Students was recently announced. This initiative is designed to support individuals in completing the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) and to address critical skills shortages in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.

The program offers two financial support options—Scholarships and Low-Cost TAE—to help individuals complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122). This qualification is essential for those seeking to become trainers and assessors in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. The package aims to address critical skills shortages, while supporting regional and remote communities, Australian Defence Force veterans, and individuals returning to the workforce.
