A Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) provides information about the rights, responsibilities and options available to an individual making a complaint in sport. MPIOs are impartial and don’t mediate or investigate complaints. They may reside in a club, state association or national sports organisation and can also freelance.
This FREE course consists of the Part 1 (4 online modules) and Part 2 (1 online) facilitated workshop which need to be completed to become a recognised MPIO.

Complaint Handling in Sport – Wednesday, 9 October 2024, 6:00PM
A free virtual workshop to assist organisations understand their roles and responsibilities regarding the complaints handling process. The session will be hosted by Morgan Lander, a specialist in risk management whose work focuses on pro-active education and training providing the sport and recreation sector with the education and skills they require to navigate a myriad of issues and reduce risk of harm to stakeholders.
