HumanAbility has started the Outdoor Recreation Qualification Review project to critically evaluate and update sector qualifications and ensure they align with current industry needs, regulatory requirements, safety, and wellbeing outcomes.
The outdoor recreation qualifications require a review to address recent curriculum updates that reflect evolving standards and anticipate future needs within the sector. The project aims to ensure that outdoor recreation professionals are equipped with relevant, up-to-date skills and knowledge to effectively meet current and emerging demands. The courses under review are:
- SIS20419 Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation
- SIS30619 Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership
- SIS40621 Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership
- SIS50421 Diploma of Outdoor Leadership
